Hey my name's Nicole and I although I hail from New England, I am currently attending art school in Florida to earn a degree in Illustration. Until recently I was earning this degree towards a hopeful career in comic illustration; however, I have recently learned about myself that I am more of a static illustrator and thusly have turned my focus more towards advertising and editorial work - although I am always open for a cover illustration or two.
Other than comics and drawing I enjoy writing works of fiction in which I myself am bestowed with super human powers - whether they be for better or worse, but sometimes I am merely content to daydream. I also am pretty helpless to do anything unless there is music on - preferably alternative - but sometimes I get more adventurous. I used to spend a lot of time playing softball and field hockey - but sadly cannot find a team nor the time recently, although I always manage to spare an hour or so to sit on my couch with a drink and watch crime dramas unfold while occasionally updating my twitter @sawedafter - thus is my life. :D



Recently I have tried my hand at livejournal layout editing; however not without help the Stylesheet was developed by refuted while I just fussed with the colors and header. The mood theme is the wonderful creation of lidi. Unfortunately I tend to grab icons on the fly and forget names later on - if you see an icon of yours in my stash please feel free to message me and I will immediately give credit in the comments.
